Dachshunds are still considered hunting dogs, as they were originally bred for hunting small game such as badgers and rabbits. Their long, low bodies and tenacious nature make them well-suited for digging into burrows and flushing out prey. While many dachshunds today are kept as companion animals, they still retain their hunting instincts and can excel in activities such as earthdog trials and scent work. Therefore, dachshunds can be considered both hunting dogs and still hunting dogs. **

Both fairness and equality are important concepts, but fairness may be more important in certain situations. Fairness ensures that individuals are treated justly and impartially based on their unique circumstances, while equality focuses on ensuring everyone has the same resources or opportunities. Hunting can be sustainable if it is managed properly. This includes setting limits on the number of animals that can be harvested, protecting vulnerable species, and ensuring that hunting practices do not harm the overall population of the species. By following sustainable hunting practices, it is possible to maintain healthy wildlife populations and ecosystems for future generations. However, unsustainable hunting practices, such as overhunting or hunting of endangered species, can have detrimental effects on ecosystems and biodiversity. **

Fairness refers to the concept of justice and impartiality in treating individuals based on their unique circumstances and needs.
