On the altar, there are typically religious symbols or objects that hold significance to the specific faith or tradition. This can include candles, incense, religious texts, statues or images of deities, and offerings such as food or flowers. Female altar servers are girls or women who assist the priest during Mass and other liturgical ceremonies in the Catholic Church. They may help with tasks such as carrying the processional cross, holding the book for the priest, and assisting with the preparation of the altar. The role of female altar servers has become more common in the Church since the 1980s, when the Vatican officially allowed girls to serve at the altar. This change has been seen as a way to promote greater participation of women in the liturgical life of the Church. **

An altar server is a lay person, typically a young member of the church, who assists the clergy during religious services. Their duties may include carrying the cross, lighting candles, assisting with the preparation of the altar, and helping the priest during the celebration of the Eucharist. You can create an altar whenever you feel called to do so. Altars can be created for various reasons such as to honor a deity, to set intentions, for meditation and reflection, or to connect with your spiritual practice. Trust your intuition and create an altar when you feel the need for a sacred space in your home or when you want to deepen your spiritual connection. There is no right or wrong time to create an altar, it is a personal decision based on your own spiritual journey. **

Altar servers are typically children or young adults, ranging in age from around 7 to 18 years old. Many churches and religious traditions encourage young people to become altar servers as a way to become more involved in the church community and to learn about the rituals and traditions of the faith. Some churches may also have adult altar servers, but it is more common for younger individuals to take on this role. **

Scouts may not necessarily dislike altar servers, but there may be a perception that being an altar server conflicts with the time commitment and responsibilities of being a scout. Altar serving often involves regular commitments to serve at religious ceremonies, which may conflict with scout meetings, events, or camping trips. Additionally, some scouts may feel that altar serving is not aligned with the values and activities of scouting, leading to a lack of interest in altar serving among scouts. **

I am an altar server because I feel called to serve and assist in the celebration of the Mass. It is a way for me to actively participate in the liturgy and contribute to the worship of the Church. I find great joy in being able to support the priest and help create a reverent and prayerful atmosphere during the Mass. Serving at the altar allows me to deepen my faith and grow in my understanding of the sacred rituals and traditions of the Catholic Church. **

Both fairness and equality are important concepts, but fairness may be more important in certain situations. Fairness ensures that individuals are treated justly and impartially based on their unique circumstances, while equality focuses on ensuring everyone has the same resources or opportunities. In some cases, prioritizing fairness may lead to greater overall equality by addressing individual needs and circumstances. Ultimately, a balance of both fairness and equality is necessary to create a just and equitable society. **
